Perspective

Workplaces can be difficult to navigate, posing complex problems and opportunities that also affect our social selves and family lives. I provide career coaching which uses psychodynamic thinking when this is appropriate for the client, typically when something disturbing, unusual, or out of character occurs with thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I offer online appointments and in-person appointments in consulting rooms near Exeter.

Coaching work includes:
Healthy working relationships
Your relationships at work are important. When tensions arise or repair is needed, I work with you to help you identify what is going on - for you - and those you are in conflict with.

The work of recovery and repair takes many forms. The wellbeing of you and those around you are at the heart of the work.
Transitions in roles & careers
I work with clients going through transitions at all stages of their adult lives. These changes in role affect our self-identities and those closest to and dependent upon us.

I work with my clients to reduce the isolation and burden that can be felt when making these personal decisions of great importance.
Career, couple & family
Feeling overwhelmed by the challenges of balancing and integrating these different aspects of ourselves can occur at any time.

I help you identify ways in which your relationships can be prioritised and conflicting pressures resolved - moving away from feeling stuck and trapped.
